The excessive use of the word 'like' makes me cringe.  I also shudder when someone uptalks. Uptalking is when every sentence is asked as a question (there might be a different word for this).  Also, I'd to remind people that 'nother' is not a word. 

Words and phrases I wish would go away forever:
-using 'totes' in lieu of totally
-the overuse of the word totally
-people who say 'OMG', 'LOL' or other text acronyms in real life conversations
-the combining of words to make new, ridiculous sounding words

At least I know I'm not alone in how I feel.   I found this Top 10 list of words that should die immediately.

Onward to Friday.  Hopefully today is not the day when I snap but so far it's not boding well.
