unfortunately I can hear you now

It seems that the only people who use their cell phones in public are the ones having conversations you DON'T want to hear.

'She dresses like a hoe but a classy hoe'.
'My 9 year old is SO popular. At her last party they played kissing games and after the boys left the girls totally snuck out'.
'Yes I just did our taxes and we made SO much money last year!  ...And of course we cheated on our return'.
'Ma, the doctor said the pus and smell mean it's healing'.  (lady on bus - those sitting around her all moved away)
'My SSN is 111-11-1111!  My checking accout is 1234567 and my mother's maiden name is Smith' (I made up the numbers but the man was giving out ACTUAL account and personal info on a very crowded bus)
'The only working I do is working the disability system'

Overhearing statements like these make me weep for the future.

GET OUT.

What the hell is wrong with people?

You're making me grateful for my gas guzzling, solo commute.
